Love, Laugh, Let it go

by Lindsey Oliver

Welcome to the chaos! If you're looking to overcome perfectionistic tendencies, say "goodbye" to timelines for life that aren't really serving you and ignore the opinions of (hopefully) well-meaning friends and family, you've found your place. Together, we'll discover how to navigate life's twists with resilience, humor and probably too many overshares.

Your host, Lindsey has a love of life and truly believes women deserve to live lives they are RIDICULOUSLY happy with! As a certified Enneagram Coach (she's a 7!), she's all about spreading love and laughter.
You could say Lindsey has lived life a little unconventionally—married at 25, divorced at 29, and then off to sunny St. Petersburg, FL from Maine at 30 for a fresh start (which didn't start off so well)!
Drawing from her own adventures and stories, she's on a mission to help women unlock their sparkle and tackle life's twists and turns.

Subject to Change. A reflection of the last 365 days.

34m · Published 14 Oct 09:00

Somehow it's been a full year since I packed up by vehicle in Maine and started driving  to Florida with my dad and Jules (the cutest mini doodle you've ever seen) to begin a new chapter in life.
The past year has been tumultuous, hard, scary, and difficult. It's also been full of adventure, excitement, and new experiences. This episode is a reflection of the good, the bad and the very ugly of the last 365 days. It's a reflection of how we grow through our experiences and how quickly life can change. Everything in life is subject to change.
I debated whether or not to talk about the topics, but I have found healing in hearing other people's stories and if I can give someone that experience, the fear of what others may think outweigh any fears I have.

This episode may be pointless. Say "yes" to listening anyway.

I'm tired, I haven't slept much in the last 2 weeks, but I missed you all- so here we are! Mostly catching you up on the last couple weeks of adventures, sharing some hopefully funny stories, and encouraging you to say "yes" to things to hopefully put you on the path to becoming the woman you were always meant to be!

Happiness may mean abandoning your timeline.

13m · Published 22 Sep 21:00

Timelines serve some purpose, but I don't believe they really serve a purpose in how we live our lives. Timelines are created by a version of ourself that no longer exists, so WHY are we chasing the picture-perfect life that was created by someone who doesn't know as much as we do now? Weird, right?
Today, like I have before, I'm talking all about my previous timeline and how I'm so grateful like didn't turn out the way I planned. It's okay to grieve a former life, but the future holds so much more!

Losing yourself, finding yourself and 4 things I've learned

28m · Published 14 Sep 09:00

Another honest episode! If you feel like you're losing yourself, or you feel like you've lost yourself, I've been there, and I empathize with you! It can feel isolating, scary, shameful, and a accompanied with a whole slew of other emotions. When this podcast first started in April 2021, I was the healthiest, happiest version of myself after YEARS of work. Those years seemingly went down the drain, and come December, I felt like I'd lost myself. Sharing parts of the story of how I went about finding myself again and also disclosing my list of 4 things I won't tolerate in any type for relationship - romantic or platonic- moving forward. You are the company you keep, and given my personal experiences, I feel these 4 things will help maintain my own happiness and mental health moving forward.
