Rafa Lombardino, an established Portuguese translator, joins us on today's episode to talk about her story and the tools that have helped her through the years as an independent translator. She is the author of “Tools and Technology in Translation - The Profile of Beginning Language Professionals in the Digital Age,” published in 2004, a Proz.com instructor as well as an instructor at the University of California San Diego Extension, Certificate in Translation Program.

She started as an approved court interpreter in Austin Texas in 2020; provisionally qualified in the Superior Court of California; CCHI Core Certified Health Care Interpreter in 2017, Certified by the State of Illinois Supreme Court, and so much more.
In 2020 Zenab became CHIA's Interpreter of the Year!
