Welcome to day 17 of Journeying Through a Month of Grace.

Today we give ourselves meditation. Meditation is to get to know ourselves, to get familiar with ourselves. Through meditation we learn how to regulate ourselves and go to the places we usually ignore or overlook. There are many ways of meditating, there are many forms of meditation. Everyone can do it. It's free. Simply sit down, breathe and listen, watch, observe, become the witness of your thoughts. 

Here's a wonderful quote by Osho:

“I'm simply saying that there is a way to be sane. I'm saying that you can get rid of all this insanity created by the past in you. Just by being a simple witness of your thought processes.
It is simply sitting silently, witnessing the thoughts, passing before you. Just witnessing, not interfering not even judging, because the moment you judge you have lost the pure witness. The moment you say “this is good, this is bad,” you have already jumped onto the thought process.
It takes a little time to create a gap between the witness and the mind. Once the gap is there, you are in for a great surprise, that you are not the mind, that you are the witness, a watcher.
And this process of watching is the very alchemy of real religion. Because as you become more and more deeply rooted in witnessing, thoughts start disappearing. You are, but the mind is utterly empty.
That’s the moment of enlightenment. That is the moment that you become for the first time an unconditioned, sane, really free human being.”

 So, today give yourself meditation.

Welcome to day 16 of Journeying Through a Month of Grace.

Today we give ourselves movement. Ladies, let's get our bodies moving. Through walks, yoga or pilates,HIIT or Bootcamp workout, swimming, running jumping, hiking or whatever you fancy. When we don't move our bodies, energy can't flow, which means our emotions (= energy in motion) cannot flow. Adn we surely wanna prevent ourselves from feeling stuck and havin mood swings. When you are in a funk maybe, the best thing you can do, aside from consciously breathing and meditation, is to move your beautiful temple. It's so easy and yet, so many underestimate the power of movement. Let's pump fresh blood through our veins. Let's get unstuck, let's boost our mental, emotional and physical health. 

 So, today give yourself movement.

Welcome to day 15 of Journeying Through a Month of Grace.

Today we give ourselves touch. Touch soothes us, it calmes down our nervous system and it speaks louder than a thousand words. Book yourself a massage, start by consciously touching and caressing your body. Touch your legs, your feet, your arms. Stroke your face, your upper body. Ask your loved ones to give a big hug and let yourself fall into their warm embrace. Touch is essential for our well-being. It gives us emotional comfort. 

So, today give yourself touch.

Welcome to day 13 of Journeying Through a Month of Grace.

Today we give ourselves play. When was the last time you made time for play? Most certainly, when you feel off or down you haven't played enough. Play brings us into a frequency of alignment and happiness, joy and curiosity. It's an elevated state of being. Look at a child, look at them how they lose track of time, because they are so engaged in what their doing. They are in a frequency of love and ease. The heart is open, and when the heart is open, everything else is in flow. Everything else fals into play. 

Have fun, laugh, be silly. This world is a big playground. Which role are you PLAYING? 

Play and light up like a star. It's contagiouos. Others can't be but infused by this energy. You do yourself and others a big favor when you take things easy and not so serious. There's a lot of wisdom to be found in play. 

So, today give yourself play.

Welcome to day 12 of Journeying Through a Month of Grace.

Today we give ourselves healing.  We come here to this beautiful planet to remember where we come from, who we truly are. We come here to remember that we are already whole that there's nothing broken about us. And yet, on this level of existence, we experience pain, hurt, trauma and suffering. We feel separate from ourselves and other people. We feel that in fact we are broken. Healing is tending to those wounds that have hurt us in the past with loving care and tenderness. Healing can happen in many ways and forms. Sometimes it is a smile from a stranger, or a simple word of kindness. It is the breath we give ourselves, the space, the stillness, the nourishment and care. It is the time we give ourselves to heal, to feel, and to remember our truth. 

“I’m here. I love you. I don’t care if you need to stay up crying all night long, I will stay with you. If you need the medication again, go ahead and take it—I will love you through that, as well. If you don’t need the medication, I will love you, too. There’s nothing you can ever do to lose my love. I will protect you until you die, and after your death I will still protect you. Welcome to day 11 of Journeying Through a Month of Grace.

Today we give ourselves nourishment. What is nourishing to your soul, to your body, to your heart? Give yourself the best most vibrant food, give yourself rest, care, space, time, breath, water, stillness, compassion, and grace. And don't forget to keep nourishing yourself daily. Make it a habit. 

“Happiness is impermanent, like everything else. In order for happiness to be extended and renewed, you have to learn how to feed your happiness. Nothing can survive without food, including happiness; your happiness can die if you don’t know how to nourish it. If you cut a flower but you don’t put it in some water, the flower will wilt in a few hours. Even if happiness is already manifesting, we have to continue to nourish it.” - Thich Nhat Hanh;  No Mud, No Lotus

So, today give yourself nourishment.

What are you grateful for today? I suggest that you make a list of 100 things that you are grateful for, and recite the list whenever you can. Watch how your heart will open more. And watch how you feel. It's a simple practice but oh so valuable.
