Hudson is the Director of Cancer Care Delivery Research (CCDR) at Prisma Health (Greenville, South Carolina). Dr. Hudson conducts and oversees research on interventions mediating patient, clinician, and organizational factors influencing cancer care outcomes and patient well-being. Hudson is the Vice Chair of a national community oncology research base’s CCDR Committee (NRG Oncology). He also serves Prisma Health as a Health Sciences Center Research Director facilitating embedded researchers’ induction and production within the health care environment. Hudson holds a faculty appointment at the University of South Carolina’s Arnold School of Public Health, where he previously taught an introductory course in comparative effectiveness research. He also holds faculty appointments at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville, Clemson University School of Nursing, Clemson University School of Health Research, Clemson University’s Department of Public Health Sciences, and Wake Forest School of Medicine. Hudson also served as a member of the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute’s (PCORI) Patient Engagement Advisory Panel.

In 2015 he was presented the 2015 Performance Health / Massage Therapy Foundation Humanitarian Award by the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), and was the recipient of the ONE Concept Educator of the Year Award for 2013. Lowe began his research into the complexity of chronic pain conditions and injuries over two decades ago. He is currently the education section editor for the International Journal of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, a member of the editorial advisory board of the Journal of Bodywork & Movement Therapies, and has been a regular featured author in publications such as Massage & Bodywork, Massage Magazine, Massage Today and the Journal of Soft-Tissue Manipulation. He is the author of the books, Orthopedic Assessment in Massage Therapy and Orthopedic Massage: Theory and Technique, which are used in training programs and schools nationally and internationally.

Munk is a clinically trained and licensed massage therapist and completed her doctoral training in gerontology at the University of Kentucky. Munk is one of 13 international Fellows in the International Complementary Medicine Research Leadership Program at University Technology Sydney (UTS): Australian Research Centre in Complementary and Integrative Medicine (ARCCIM). In addition, Munk is a Massage Therapy Foundation Trustee and co-investigator on the VA funded TOMCATT study, which examines care-ally assisted and therapist provided massage for Veterans with chronic neck pain. Prior to beginning her appointment as faculty at the School of Health & Human Sciences, Munk worked in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Kentucky on the KYPROS study which examined real-world massage therapy for primary care patients with chronic low back pain. Before her research career, Munk was the associate then program director for the Lexington Healing Arts Academy in Lexington, Kentucky and president of In Touch Inc. which provided massage therapy for older adults in their homes, care centers, or in professional therapeutic space.
