Did you know that taking Action comes before Motivation? What if I told you that taking Action creates more Action and boosts Motivation? Yes! This formula is true! When we move forward and take action steps we boost our dopamine receptors-the feel good hormone. When we feel good we get motivated. Sitting around and worrying or just thinking about what you need to do to create the life you want to live will not make it happen. Taking one step forward at a time will slowly get you to where you want to be. After all you did not get to where you are today by just sitting around and thinking about it. All the actions you have taken till now has gotten you to where you are today. Whether it is a good result or bad it took some action to get the result.

How to Deal with Fear

Fear makes many of us change our mood and our tone towards others. It is important to understand others when they show up angry, upset or even just plain mean on the why they are acting that way. We need to understand that many times it is not us that are creating that emotion in others. Fear is a mechanism our body and mind have in order to feel protected. We want to be in control of a situation but not sure how thus may react in a way that is not the way we normally behave or act. I learned so much about this in my career as a Cardiac Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

5 Things I Learned During My 100 Day Challenge

100 days of repeating the same habit to help it stick and become a part of my daily routine.  I chose to do something I felt was difficult only to build courage and confidence in myself.  I must say my discovery was a big WOW!

Why 100 days though? 100 is a magic number for me because it is long enough to make an impact on my goals, but it is short enough to feel attainable. It is a fast-track method to create new habits that will stick.

Decisions take time and energy and thus can deplete us.

They may make people feel tired, drained, mental fog, mental exhaustion.

The more decisions our brain must make the more it can tire it out.

This week I share how making time to pre plan can set you up for success and even prevent brain and decision fatigue.
