19m · PublishedIn today’s episode, I transition from last week’s episode on our innate worthiness to be seen to now talk about our innate worthiness to receive. I want these next episodes to affirm our innate worthiness and be a remembrance for all the things we’ve lost touch with that we deserve simply by being and without the need to labor for it.
In this episode, I share why I often find it very hard to receive and how does one learns to increase their capacity to receive because receiving is such a beautiful gift - something we all deserve. Cultivating a good balance in our lives to receive as we give, would not only prevent burnout in areas in which we only give too much of ourselves but helps us refuel the love back.
Let me know what do you most struggle to receive in your life and what has made you believe you aren’t deserving.
I hope you do enjoy this episode

22m · PublishedIn this episode I share about healing through being seen by ourselves first, therefore, healing as a collective.
I have come to learn that sometimes the things we long for the most are often the things we resist the most, like being seen.
As a person who was constantly bullied, I received that as rejection and the hardest thing is being rejected while being yourself. So naturally, it felt safe not to be seen. In this episode, I share what it means for me to be seen.
I know now that you have to heal what hurts, so you don’t have to hide who you are.
Do share with me what it means for you to be seen or heard.
Thank you for deciding to spend your time here.

22m · PublishedIt must be that the synonym for Peace is Boundaries
The way I see it boundaries help with simplifying our lives and therefore grants us peace of mind. I never knew that asking for peace would mean setting boundaries, not only the easier ones that would not cause any discomfort but more so those ones. To set them and learn to reinforce them.
Today’s topic reminded me of my childhood favorite tree, so I share some of my fondest childhood memories.
If anything that therapy helped me with, among other things, was being able to grant myself permission to own my feelings and validating them, this has also helped me learn to communicate and draw my boundaries, and the hardest part reinforcing them. To me, it has become important to preserve and protect my energy, to be able to call it back home.
Setting boundaries is one of the most important parts of cultivating healthy relationships.

21m · PublishedThe Podcast is officially back! Welcome to Season 2!
I am excited to be back.
In South Africa, we celebrate Women's day on the 9th of August and this makes the month Women's month. So let me start by saying - Happy women’s month, I hope you always know that you are loved, celebrated and that your life matters. But I that you never wait to be celebrated to celebrate yourself too.
In today’s episode, I wanted to talk about acceptance, trust and surrender to life. All these almost mean the same thing. To accept is surrendering to life - being completely open and available to what life intends for you in this moment or whatever situation you find yourself in, and to accept one has to drop into deep trust beyond our own knowing.
I am in a Season of deep Trust, surrender, and acceptance. I made a huge life-changing decision this past few days which was a huge act of trust and faith.
In this episode, I will touch on what acceptance is not when to know you have to release control and trust or accept, then lastly ways in which you can practice acceptance or cultivate openness to life.
Do enjoy listening.
Thank you for being here.

28m · PublishedThis episode is our final episode for Season 1 and I have so much in my heart, but a huge part of it is gratitude. I am grateful to my Devine Source who I got to co-create this Podcast with, who found my broken story and still said I will use you for good. I am grateful to you who somehow found this podcast in time and have been part of the sisterhood. I hope the podcast helped you start or continue in your healing journey.
It was not so long ago when I made the announcement that I was starting this podcast, and today more than 5 months in we are here. I have grown and gained so much since. The wisdom, the courage, and the relationships here. I can say that my heart is full.
This is merely a break and in Season 2 I am hoping to stretch Living Content just a little bit out of comfort. There will be exciting things coming.
In this episode, I share the lessons I have gained this year, through conversations I have had and some just as I encounter life. I also close this episode with a meditation so I hope you will find a comfortable space where you can rest your body and listen as I take you through a meditation to wrap our season.
Do enjoy listening.
Thank you for being here.

51m · PublishedIn this episode, I sat for a conversation with Buyisile Mncina. Buyisile is familiar to my guest chair, we once created a 4 part series called Psychology matters which covered 4 topics to assist women as they navigate their motherhood, work-life, relationship, and business journey currently hosted on The Journey Unearthed podcast.
Buyisile Mncina is a practicing counseling psychologist, co-founder of ReBasadi Mental Health Associates, as well as a sessional psychology lecturer at Wits University.
She considers herself primarily a student of life before she is a teacher, counsel, healer, and companion. One of Buyisile's values is in contributing to the existing body of knowledge as well as being flexible to the ever-changing times. To be a healer, one must continuously facilitate a state of abundance, and that state requires; effort, insight, shedding, and healing, a soul position that Buyisile is never shy to own.
Buyisile has also engaged in numerous media platforms including' Psycho-educational TV shows, Social Media Lives, Speaking Engagements, Magazine contributions, and radio contributions. With much of the work she has done, she has also contributed to philanthropic efforts and believes we can never quite get to a state where we feel we have done all we can - each day presents new opportunities to show up for purpose, whatever that may be for the season you are in.
In this episode we talk about codependency which she would rather call conflicted dependency, learning to create your independence, and constructing a sense of self.
Do enjoy listening.
