Check In With Yourself (Episode 87)
12m · PublishedThis week I am sharing transformative tools that have reshaped my approach to life's ups and downs. In the latest episode, I walk you through the powerful process of noticing your emotional and mental state, making aligned decisions and mastering the practice steps that lead to your desired results.
I believe there is a pause needed between the “Notice” & Decide” steps of my 3 step process. I encourage everyone to do this regularly - from a place of love, check in and see if your energy is aligned and if your nervous system is regulated before reacting to any situation or making any decisions about how to respond.
I'll share an experience with positive intelligence coaching that grounds you in the present moment.
Main points:
- Check in with yourself before reacting to any situation.
- Regulate your nervous system in a way that works for you.
- Operate and respond from a place of calm.

What is a "Manual of Me"? ( Episode 86)
18m · PublishedHealthy self awareness changes everything!
I believe that transformation occurs when we embrace self awareness and grow in self love. It is the foundation of my coaching philosophy.
We live A Vibrant Life when we are healthy in all areas of life. Creating a personalized road map allows you to grow in self knowledge as you notice your strengths & weaknesses. Adding the “Manual of Me” to your toolbox of coaching tools allows you to navigate life, understand what makes you “tick” and create mutually flourishing relationships.
- Main points:
- My favorite fundamental tools of self awareness include both the Working Genius and the Enneagram.
- These resources have helped me to understand why I think and feel and do life the way I do and why the people that I'm in relationship with think and feel and do life so differently from me.
- My idea behind the Manual of Me is that it is ever growing and evolving as you move through seasons of life- not something you make once and are done with it.

"Re-think Meal Planning" Workshop ( Episode 79)
10m · PublishedFeeling overwhelmed by the weekly grind of “simply” putting dinner on the table? Did you know that it’s not really that simple? This episode isn't about recipes and grocery lists; it's a candid discussion about the realities of feeding a family (or just yourself) amidst the whirlwind of life. I share simple tips and practical strategies to help avoid the last-minute scramble and make meal planning & prep a smoother and more peaceful part of your weekly rhythm.
- Main points:
- Be aware of what I refer to as“emotional labor”- all the thoughts & feelings related to the activities needed to run a home, including putting dinner on the table.
- Meal planning seems simple, but it actually involves a lot of steps, all of which require mental energy and many of which require physical energy.
- Take some time to identify all the steps involved (e.g., planning, grocery shopping, prepping, cooking, cleaning up).
- Notice your thoughts and feelings about each one.
- Consider balancing task division so no one person is stuck always doing the set of activities they hate.
- Recognize that few people have high mental energy during the hour when dinner needs to be prepared.
