59: Practice Purposeful Planning
11m · PublishedOne of the biggest struggles in our life is to behave as if our current energy was different - that we can control it, that we can make more of it by trying harder, and that we have no energy limits.
When we try to live a life like we have 120% of life energy ( when we have only 100%), it is like putting debt on a credit card with compound interest and no ability to pay it off.
That payment still needs to come and be paid and what happens is we end up living exhausted, depleted lives instead of vibrant lives. “
Purposeful daily planning can help you manifest the life you desire and live within your energy limits.
The first step is to recognize that we each have 100% of OUR current life energy. No more, no less.
The second step ( and a key step to living a fulfilling life) lies in accepting this fact and learning to invest this energy judiciously.
Next, we decide to craft our plan for the day from a place of love for our current & future selves, while maintaining the spontaneity that life often brings.
Advocating for the need for 'white space' will also contribute to more of your life's energy being invested in your purpose-filled results.
Finally, breaking down your day into the who, what, when, where, and why will optimize the management of your mental, physical, and emotional energies.
