In this episode, we speak with our first male guest Walker Holloway on some tips to help us jumpstart our financial health in 2022.  He gives us some action steps on what we can do now to become more financially healthy and how we can invest in a world we want to see. 

Walker Holloway was born and raised in Wheeling West Virginia and graduated from Linsly in 2007. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Rollins College and began his financial advising career with AXA Advisors in Orlando Florida shortly after. During his time there, he gained valuable knowledge and experience mentoring under some of the top producers of his firm.

In 2013, Walker returned to Wheeling and became partners with his father at Hazlett, Burt & Watson. Together they provide exceptional financial guidance to individuals, families, and small business owners alike. Their collaborative and comprehensive approach focuses on analyzing their client’s unique expectations and goals through the scope of their investments, insurance and succession plans.

Walker is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional and adheres to the CFP Board’s Code of Ethics for integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism and diligence. In addition to the CFP®, he holds the Series 6, Series 7, Series 66 and Life/Health Insurance licenses.

Outside of the office, Walker is heavily involved in the community, serving on the boards of numerous nonprofits: Wheeling Rotary (President), Oglebay Institute, Wheeling National Heritage Area Corp., St John’s Home for Children, and the OVMC Auxiliary Inc. In his spare time he enjoys travel, basketball and ballroom dance.
