Dr. Tim Cummings wears many hats - he's a strength coach, physical therapist, writer, speaker, and his wife, Jess, the visionary behind Restore/Thrive.

Tim splits his time between helping athletes, parents, and coaches fix acute and long-standing orthopedic injuries and programming post-rehab training programs for individuals looking to return to active lifestyles after an injury. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2004 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Southwest Baptist University in 2010. He was certified as a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Trainer in 2011. He was certified as an IMPACT Concussion Management Provider in 2012, and he was the first physical therapist in Kansas City to earn recognition as a MovNat certified trainer in 2014. He was the first physical therapist in Kansas City designated as a MobilityWOD Certified Practitioner in 2015. He became a Power Athlete Block One Coach in 2020.

Before starting his physical therapy and performance practice, Tim practiced with the renowned Elite Physical Therapy and Integrative Medicine, recognized in the Kansas City metro as an innovative physical therapy practice. In his current practice, Tim continues to practice performance-based orthopedic physical therapy, with a focus on return to work and return to play training.

Chris White, A former collegiate football and track & field student-athlete for Cal Poly, White played in the Canadian Football League and on several Arena Football teams. Following his playing career, White worked with Dr. Marcus Elliott, one of the leading doctors in sports performance today. While working with Dr. Elliott at his training facility P3 in Santa Barbara, California, White assisted in training professional athletes in the MLB, AVP, NBA, and NFL.

White earned a Master of Science degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise science from Cal Poly. During his graduate studies, he focused on different forms of recovery after strength training. He teamed up with Dr. Chris Holder to write his master's thesis on the effects of Qigong on strength gains and well-being in collegiate athletics. He also is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Strength and Conditioning Certified Coach (SCCC).
