Episode 71 - Coach Adam - Strength Training for 40+

13m · Published 25 Feb 03:26

Strength training is essential for those over 40 to maintain active, healthy lifestyles. Strength training not only helps prevent injury, but also increases muscle mass and bone density. As we age, our muscles and bones naturally become weaker, making it more important than ever to strength train.

By engaging in regular strength training exercises, individuals can improve balance and coordination, as well as reduce their risk of osteoporosis and falls. Not to mention, strength training is also great for improving moods and increasing energy levels. With age comes wisdom, and with that wisdom should come knowledge about the power of strength training in maintaining health, quality of life and longevity.

Strength training can be seen as an investment into your future - and it’s one that pays off in the long run.  By starting or continuing a strength training program, individuals over 40 can look forward to healthier bodies, better physical function and improved overall well-being.
