Stu built Urban MVMNT through years of seeing what is wrong with the fitness industry. So much of fitness over the past decade has been heavy, harder, and faster. Stu took the opposite approach to get better results! 

At Urban MVMNT, they base all their training and programming around TEMPO training and perfecting form. Their tempo training requires members to pause and "slow-motion" many of their movements. Turns out racing training might not be the best way to get stronger and feel better!

Brett sees the other side of fitness training with people hurting themselves by being active and not being smart or people not not being active. 

Brett is a Rockton local joining our team after a recent move home from Salt Lake City. His football career led him to play NCAA football for Augustana College. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Washington University-St. Louis in 2017.

Brett has a strong background in strength and conditioning from personal experience in football, but also supported by his Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) certification. He works full-time as a physical therapist and enjoys spending his days off in the gym helping people reach their fitness goals.

Tyler knew what he could offer was a truly caring environment, and wanted everyone to see that it is possible to be better with the right person behind them. 

Tyler was the trainer for the ABC’s Hit TV show Extreme Weight Loss and competed in the CrossFit Games Regionals four times. Him, his wife Amy and two children reside in Pewaukee, right outside Milwaukee.

Jim have been a high school teacher since 2001 in southern New Jersey.  During that time, he have taught Health and Physical Education to 10th grade and 12th grade students and can not ignore the drastic decline in fitness levels and nutritional knowledge.  It has become such a passion of his to educate these students on proper nutrition and exercise, that he proposed, developed, and implemented a one year curriculum on Nutrition and Fitness.  This course is an elective class which will prepare students who are interested in pursuing careers after graduating.  While teaching this course, Jim has witnessed students change the way they view their nutrition, whether it be for weight loss, weight gain, or sport performance.
