Judgment Pricing and evaluations, and judgment buyers

27m · Published 04 Nov 23:00
Mark Shapiro of  JudgmentBuy.com discusses Judgment Pricing and evaluations, and what judgment buyers are looking for.
Most judgment owners prefer to sell their judgments for as much cash upfront as they can possibly get. Because judgments expire, and judgment recovery depends on the judgment debtor, the economy, costs money, takes time, and is financially risky; every real judgment buyer is now very conservative about how much they will pay for judgments. In judgment sales, it is usually a buyer's market, because only one out of a hundred judgments can be sold to an actual judgment buyer for more than 1-7% of the judgment's face value. Mark discusses the judgment that actually sold for 35% cash upfront.

Mark Shapiro of JudgentBuy.com where Judgment Recovery and Judgment Collection are expertly referred for free, discusses the issues with rich or wealthy judgment debtors. Especially in a tough economy, at least 90% of judgment debtors are poor, which makes judgment recovery very difficult. Most people assume that in those few judgment recovery situations where judgment debtors are rich, that judgment recovery is easy and guaranteed. Even when the judgment debtor is wealthy, judgment recovery is far from guaranteed.
