Hello everyone, welcome to our 9th episode of Leigh!@Lunch. This is our last episode of the fall 2013 season and will resume again in January 2014. We hope you have enjoyed this season so far. This week Matt will be interviewing economist Bruce Rottman. Next, Leigh will interview storyteller Jim Weiss.

 

Bruce Rottman has taught economics at many schools accross the country since 1980. He primarily teaches Economics and in 2000 won the NASDAQ Award presented to the top five economic educators in the nation and was twice the recipient of awards presented by the Wisconsin Council on Economic Education. He enjoys teaching people of all ages and during the summers speaks at FEE (Foundation for Economic Education) seminars for high school and college students.

 

Jim Weiss  has been a professional storyteller for over 25 years. In 1989, he and his wife, Randy Weiss, formed a production company, Greathall Productions, and have thus far produced forty seven (47) storytelling recordings. Weiss' newest releases are "Julius Caesar and the Story of Rome" and "Carry On, Mr. Bowditch."

Hello everyone, welcome to another episode of Leigh!@Lunch. This week we have a slightly different schedule. At 12:00 Matt will be interviewing Pastor Doug Wilson. However, at 1:00 Leigh will be doing a special promo of her new book "The Question."
Doug Wilson is the pastor of Christ Church in Moscow, Idaho. He is also a founder and Senior Fellow in Theology at New Saint Andrews College. Doug is a prolific author and has written many books. He also regularly posts articles on his blog about everything having to do with Christianity.
Next, Leigh will be talking about her book "The Question." In the early years of schooling, young students spend lots of time memorizing different facts. However, parents often wonder what to do with these facts. "The Question" instructs parents how to develop an inquisitive spirit in their middle school and high school students. "The Question" goes over the five essential question types and how to learn through asking effective questions.

Hello everyone, welcome to our seventh show. This week Matt will be interviewing Carl Kerby followed by Leigh's interview of Casey Luskin.
Carl was a founding Board Member of Answers in Genesis for 10 years and served there for over 15 years before stepping out in faith to become President and Founder of Reasons for Hope. This happens whenever Carl speaks. Whether he speaks to youth or adults, large or small crowds, churches or schools, Carl has a way of connecting with almost everybody; and that is one of the reasons he is a much sought-after speaker both in the United States and abroad.  He has spoken in Bermuda, Canada, England, Greece, Israel, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico the Philippines and Wales just to name a few.
Casey Luskin is an attorney with graduate degrees in science and law. He earned his B.S. and M.S. in Earth Sciences from the University of California, San Diego, where he studied evolution extensively. His law degree is from the University of San Diego, where he focused his studies on First Amendment law, education law, and environmental law. In his role at Discovery Institute, Mr. Luskin works as Research Coordinator, assisting and defending scientists, educators, and students who seek to freely study, research, and teach about the scientific debate over Darwinian evolution and intelligent design. He formerly conducted geological research at Scripps Institution for Oceanography.

This week Matt will be interveiwing toby sumptor. Toby Sumpter was ordained as a minister in 2007. He previously served as minister of Holy Trinity Church in Greenville, SC. He completed his undergraduate studies at New St. Andrews College and pursued ministerial studies at Greyfriars Hall. 
After, Leigh will be joining us to interview Nancey Pearcy.Nancey R. Pearcey, editor-at-large of The Pearcey Report, is scholar in residence and professor Houston Baptist University.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our 5th episode of Leigh!@Lunch. This week we will have Matt Bianco back with us interviewing artist Bruce Herman followed by Leigh's interview with Norman Geisler.
Bruce Herman is currently Lothlorien Distinguished Chair in Fine Arts at Gordon College. He completed both undergraduate and graduate fine arts degrees at Boston University School for the Arts. He studied under Philip Guston, James Weeks, David Aronson, Reed Kay, and Arthur Polonsky. His Work has been shown internationally, including in England, Italy, Canada, and Israel.His art is featured in many public and private collections including the Vatican Museum of Modern Religious Art in Rome; The Cincinnati Museum of Fine Arts; Decorova Museum in Lincoln, Massachusetts; and the Hammer Museum, Grunwald Print Collection, Los Angeles.
Norman Geisler has authored/coauthored over 80 books and hundreds of articles. He has taught theology, philosophy, and apologetics on the college or graduate level for over 50 years.  He has served as a professor at some of the finest Seminaries in the United States, including Trinity Evangelical Seminary, Dallas Seminary, and Southern Evangelical Seminary.  He now lends his talents to Veritas Evangelical Seminary in Murrieta, California, as the Distinguished Professor of Apologetics.
