Vanessa Banks, Interior designer and owner of Decorating Den Interiors has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Design Institute of San Diego and 17 years of design experience.
Ms. Banks has completed courses in drafting, lightning, psychology of color, history of furniture, sketching and rendering. She stays current with the latest design trends and participates in on going education. She can read blueprints, work with contractors or move walls if necessary.
Ms. Banks has been providing clients with design services for residential and small commercial spaces in San Diego, Riverside and Los Angeles counties.
She enjoys working with and educating her clients throughout the design process, for example, during the paint selection for a space, she explains how and why the paint colors will complement the room’s fabrics, furniture or adjacent spaces.
Interior Design is her passion and she is always excited to” beautify” any space.

Born out of a love of fine wines and delicious food, Carlsbad Food Tours has become destination experience for dining and wine tasting in Carlsbad by the Sea. After traveling and experiencing food tours in other cities, we decided to make our way back home and bring the world of Food Tours to our community.
Cheri was born & raised in California. She has lived in San Diego over 20 years, her children were born in the area. She has a strong connection to Carlsbad, in fact one of her daughters was Miss Carlsbad 2005. So she voted herself to be Mrs. Carlsbad. Now the Chief Foodie and Founder of Carlsbad Food Tours! She loves Carlsbad and is happy to share her knowledge about the local history and great eateries in the Carlsbad Village.

Lucy Kelleher, founder of Keep Them Loyal, worked as a litigation paralegal as well as an elementary school teacher. As a paralegal, she quickly learned how important it was to stay in contact with other attorneys, experts, service providers, and clients before, during, and even after a case concluded. Many times, when a “rush service” was needed Lucy knew who she could contact that would be willing to work with their office because Lucy had built up a relationship with them that wasn’t just about what they could do for us. Lucy learned their names, their offerings, more about them on a personal level. Lucy would stay in touch between cases.
As an elementary school teacher, the same was true. Lucy needed to build relationships with the other staff members, school personnel, as well as the families of the students Lucy taught. Lucy learned she also needed to connect with and build relationships with local businesses to partner and support her classroom and school.
When Lucy became a full-time entrepreneur, she realized that her relationships with clients and business partners was even more critical to her success. Lucy no longer saw her contacts daily or even weekly! Lucy also started networking and needed to connect with potential referral partners and business resources. Lucy began to create systems to ensure that she stay connected as well as stay “top of mind” to them.
Lucy works with other entrepreneurs and small business owners one-on-one to assist them in creating their own retention programs for their leads, clients, and referral partners. She has been designing and creating custom gifts for both personal and business partners for over ten (10) years.
