Why Most Instructional Design Projects Are Set Up to Fail (And How To Avoid It)

24m · Published 28 Oct 16:24
How did it happen? Where did we go wrong? We started out so strong, and out of no where, the project turned ugly. We have all been there. All great course designers became so through such projects. Many will tell you they still have those projects that, in spite of all efforts, just went bad. I do not think anyone starts a project with the idea of turning it into the most confusing or frustrating event they have ever experienced. It happens though. However, no bad project is the result of one giant mistake (though some may argue this). It is often the breakdown of a chain of small events. Starting at the beginning.
