In this episode of Your Life in Focus, we will discuss initiatives to address disciplinary practices across the country related to boys and young men of color. The impact of high drop out rates, low or under-employment and low expectations for boys and young men of color cannot be ignored. As these youth begin their slow descent into the school to prison pipeline, we will look at initiatives that address increasing their capacity to address the complexities of their lives.

Today's show will focus on the use of psychotropic drugs with children between the ages of 5-10. We will discuss the use of interventions as a supplemental approach to their well being.
